Rangers, version 1.7.4 is here to boost your gameplay experience! This update focuses on pure action and technical stability on the battlefield.
Game Optimization
We’ve upgraded our core game engine to ensure smoother performance and better stability overall.
Animation now adapts to movement speed. Heroes will walk when being slowed down (for example, when firing) and run when under a speed bonus.
New Aiming System
Autoshoot delay
The delay before autoshoot triggers while your reticle stays on a target has dropped from 0.1s to 0s.
Wider Autoshoot Angles
Weapons now begin firing at a greater offset between your crosshair and the target.
Projectiles now fire forward instead of toward the target
Previously, projectiles were angled toward your target's centroid. Now they fire straight along your crosshair's direction ("forward"). Weapons with homing will still adjust their trajectory mid-flight as before.
Balancing
Overall
🔀 – Auto-shoot parameters have been adjusted: weapons will now start firing from a greater distance between your crosshair and your target. However, projectiles will no longer fly directly toward your target, meaning you'll still need to aim precisely to hit your mark.
Heroes
Movement speed is increased for all heroes. However, they will be noticeably slower when firing so that aiming doesn't become too difficult in combat.
All heroes
📈 – Movement speed: approx. +20%
📉 – Movement speed when shooting decreased
Weapons
Weapon range is greatly increased along with projectile speed, letting you shoot your enemies from further away.
All weapons
📈 – Weapon range increased on most weapons: approx. +75%
📈 – Projectile speed increased on most weapons: approx. +50%
Burst Pistol
The Burst Pistol shoots more often but deals slightly less damage to keep the DPS similar.
📈 – Fire rate increased: 5 → 6
📉 – Damage decreased: 10 → 8
Lava Gun
The circular area to aim has been removed to use a crosshair, just like we did for the Shatterbomb months ago.
