Captain Qwark has decided that safe training facilities are too expensive, so he’s dropping you into an arena with a shrinking forcefield and no budget for respawners!


New Game Mode: Last Stand


In this 6-player PvP mode, survival is the only thing that matters.  


  • No Respawns: Since respawners ruin the budget, you only get one try, no respawning after death.  


  • Shrinking Zone: Avoid the shrinking forcefield. The behavior is time-based and will eventually close fully to ensure an exciting finish.  


  • Victory Condition: Outmaneuver your rivals and be the last Ranger standing to claim glory.  


  • Player Count: Matches are designed for 6 players.

Overhealth System

Boost your survivability by collecting overhealth pickups scattered throughout the arena.  


  • Permanent Buffs: Pickups grant a permanent amount of overhealth.  


  • Strategic Respawns: Pickups respawn over time, but defeated players will also drop one pickup upon death.  


  • Visual Tracking: The number of pickups collected appears above the health bar for both you and your enemies.  


  • Dynamic Updates: When you lose overhealth corresponding to a pickup, the number on your HUD decreases.  

UX & Interface Updates

  • Alive Counter: A new real-time counter tracks how many players are currently alive.  


  • Kill Feed: Track your personal performance with a dedicated kill counter.  


  • Minimap: Players will only appear on the minimap when they shoot.  


  • End-of-Match Feedback: Your final "Title" is determined by your order of elimination:  


    • Victory: For the 1st place winner.  


    • Finish: Displayed for 2nd and 3rd place.  


    • Defeat: Displayed for 4th, 5th, and 6th place.  


  • Medals: We are using the same medal spread as Total Rumble.  


Balancing & Adjustments


We are fine-tuning the combat experience to ensure a more tactical pace. Please note that all values listed below are expressed at level 1.


Overall

  • Bot Difficult: Bots should now have slightly lower average levels to balance the playing field.

Heroes

  • Health Scaling: To keep combat focused, the health increment per level has been decreased for every hero from +40% to +30%.

Weapons

  • General Scaling: Damage increment per level has been decreased for all weapons from +40% to +30%.

  • Blackhole Storm: Base damage decreased from 20 to 16.

  • The Enforcer: Base damage decreased from 98 to 72.

  • Warmonger: Mod 1 Minirockets damage decreased from 18 to 10.

Other

  • Total Rumble Power-ups: Both damage and health bonuses provided by power-ups have been reduced from +75% to +50%.

Bug fixes

  • Ranger Road reward-collecting issue introduced in 1.6 should now be fixed.

  • The joystick movement button missing during a battle should now be fixed.
